The history of Belberry began in 1956, when Andr̩ Vandererfven acquired a small grocery store that existed since the late 19th century in the West-Flemish city of Kortrijk where he started with the home-made production of preserves for the local market. Today the family-owned business continues to make small-batch, artisanal fruit jams and fruit-infused vinegars that are prized by international gourmet retailers and is the official supplier to the Royal Family of Belgium.
