Reviews

Excellent High Polyphenols Oil

"Really love this robust oil and put it on everything. It has an amazing aroma and I enjoy it especially on top of grilled meat and fish. We also put it into our salad dressings and drizzle all over grilled vegetables. It also works great on with fish crudo and ads a nice aromatic bite. The tin came well wrapped in the package."

This was a pleasant surprise

"I was pleasantly surprised there was less of a peppery burn from this oil than I expected. I am very new to consuming olive oil and have been put off before from too many pungent flavors. Oro del Desierto picual was very pleasant, not bitter, not too "green" tasting, and drinkable as is. I bought if for the health benefits. I will buy more and maybe something with a higher polyphenol content too."

Paul S. (5/5)

I’ve always disliked olive oil till now.

"Awesome! I never liked olive oil until I realized it was the bad kind I was using: plastic, clear bottle, mixed with other oils, etc. I actually like this one so much that I don't want to try any others. I did find one by the same brand that may be similar."

Valerie S. (5/5)

Great Pick!

"Having just come back from a month of traveling and using " generic" & bland olive oil provided at restaurants, I came home to Oro del Desierto Organic Picual waiting for a first time try. We used to keep skin form sticking to surface while baking and drizzled on top of mine before adding garlic, mustard & black pepper. My wife drizzled it on her lunch serving of pan fried salmon served earlier at a restaurant. High on polyphenols, nice bite to it and loved the taste it added to the salmon!"

New Customer Review

"I have been using Orel del Desierto for about two weeks now and have enjoyed the quality of this olive oil. You can tell it is high in polypenols."

Mark L. (5/5)

High polyphenols

"Flavor is intense with a nice burn on the back of the tongue. High polyphenols brings it all together !! I luved it."

Virgil S. (5/5)

I have not opened the

"I have not opened the can yet. Looking forward to the bite. Olive oil is like good whisky. It will let you know you are drinking it. Have been consuming a lot of your fine oils. I wish I would have started earlier. My olive tree gave me lots of flowers and is making a few dozen olives. What should I do with them?. I might start a small olive orchard on my sister's ranch in Llano, Texas. Llano makes good grapes so it should make good olives."

CELSO G. (5/5)

Fit for a king, acquired by a jester

"Thrilled with the flavor and texture of this olive oil. I’ll be getting this again!"

Stephen G. (5/5)

Amazing Olive Oil

"This is the second time that we’ve ordered this and it is absolutely amazing!!!! We have an amazing local Olive Oil in Barcelona and this is equally as good. Very highly recommended."

Philip S. (5/5)

The Taste Comes Through

"So far this is my favorite EVOO! I waited to be able to compare it with Koroneiki, another that I like. But I have to say this ODOP is wonderful, superb—love the flavor and the color. It’s especially nice to be able to taste the flavor even in a lemon vinaigrette that I like to make—the picual olive comes through and makes it better. I feel like everything that came before I tried this just wasn’t real olive oil."
