Acushla was established in 2006 by Joaquim Moreira. The company is located at the Quinta do Prado estate in Vila Flor within the TrΓ‘s-os-Montes e Alto Douro region of Portugal. Acushla produces premium extra virgin olive oil and adheres strictly to European and American standards for organic production.

Acushla is one of the largest organic olive oil producers in the region. The estate spans nearly 300 hectares and is home to approximately 70,000 olive trees, including 14 hectares of centenarian groves.
