We disclose information to companies that perform services on our behalf, including ecommerce hosting, payment processing, shipping and fulfillment, fraud prevention, customer service, cloud infrastructure, data analytics, email and SMS delivery, reviews, information technology, and other business functions.

Advertising, analytics, and marketing partners

We may disclose or make information available to advertising and analytics platforms such as Google, Meta, TikTok, Microsoft, Awin, and related partners for measurement, attribution, analytics, targeted advertising, audience creation, or similar purposes.

As explained below, some of these disclosures may constitute a "sale," "sharing," or processing for "targeted advertising" under certain U.S. state privacy laws even though we do not receive money in exchange for the information.

Business partners

We may disclose information to partners when necessary to provide requested services, promotions, integrations, or other functionality.

At your direction

We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or consent to the disclosure.

Legal and safety purposes

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, government requests, enforce our terms and policies, protect our rights or the rights of others, investigate fraud or security issues, or protect safety.

Business transactions

Personal information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar corporate transaction.

Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense of providing customer information to another company in exchange for money.

However, certain U.S. privacy laws define "sale" and "sharing" more broadly.

Our use of advertising, analytics, affiliate, and marketing technologies may involve disclosure of personal information to third parties in ways that may be considered a "sale," "sharing" of personal information, or processing for "targeted advertising" under applicable law.

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to opt out of these activities.

You can exercise applicable opt-out rights through our:

Your Privacy Choices

You may also use Shopify's data-sharing opt-out mechanism at:

Data Sharing Opt-Out

Where required by law, we also honor qualifying Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser or device.

Your opt-out choice may be associated with the browser or device from which the request is submitted unless we are able to associate the choice with your account or other identifying information.

U.S. State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you reside and subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • confirm whether we process personal information about you;
  • access or obtain a copy of personal information we maintain about you;

These rights are not absolute and may be subject to exceptions under applicable law.

You can exercise privacy rights through our Your Privacy Choices page or by contacting us at help@oliveoillovers.com.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. Information provided for verification will be used for that purpose.

Where permitted by law, you may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof that the agent is authorized to act for you and may require you to verify your identity or confirm the authorization directly with us.

If applicable law provides a right to appeal our decision concerning a privacy request, you may submit an appeal by contacting us at help@oliveoillovers.com and indicating that you are appealing a privacy-request decision.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

Where required by applicable law, we treat a qualifying Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising for the browser or device transmitting the signal.

We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information.

However, no security system or method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
