North Aegean Olive Oil

Over the last decade the country of Turkey has seen impressive growth in the olive sector. Much of this transformation has taken place in the North Aegean region, where a large proportion of olive production takes place due to its ideal climate and terrain. The centuries-old roots and tradition of olive growing help contribute to the unique character of the oils from this region, and producers here have been recognized with many award-winning oils in recent years. The North Aegean region of Turkey is represented on Olive Oil Lovers by the NovaVera company that grows olives in the areas of Ayvalık and Manisa.
